Some common phrases using méi

Frequently-used words or phrases using mei2

没 ( 沒 )=méi or mò=(negative prefix for verbs) / have not / not drowned / to end / to die / to inundate
没有=méi yǒu=haven't / hasn't / doesn't exist / to not have / to not be
没事=méi shì=(n.) nothing important or exciting
没意思=méi yìsi = boring/no interest
没关系=méi guānxi = no problem/it doesn't matter
没办法=méi bàn fǎ=there is nothing to be done/one can't do anything about it/impossible
没错=méi cuò=that's right/sure!/rest assured!/that's good/can't go wrong
没什么=méi shén me=nothing/it doesn't matter/it's nothing/never mind
没事儿=méi shì r=to have spare time/free from work/it's not important/it's nothing/never mind
没用=méi yòng=useless
